Helpful Hints

To create the techniques featured in this artwork, follow the helpful hints outlined below.
  • Cut the following Cricut® Art Philosophy shapes using paper of choice:
    • 2 3/4", 3 1/2", 3 3/4", 4 1/2" and 6" Font (p. 68)
    • 2 3/4" <Circle1> (p. 21)
    • 2" <Oval3> (p. 42)
    • 2" Layer <Oval3> (p. 42)
  • Use sponge dauber and Cocoa ink to color seam binding ribbon. Set aside to dry.
  • Sponge edges of each flower petal with corresponding ink color. Create flowers.
  • Stamp XOXO border along cardstock strip before adhering around top of container.
  • When the ribbon is dry, wrap around container and tie in a bow. Create faux leaves with ribbon on top of container.
  • Embellish with stamped accents and accessories, as desired.

    • 3", 4", and 5" Font <Banner1> (p. 68)
    • 1 1/2" <Banner2> (cut 5, p. 29)
  • Cut the following Cricut® Artiste shape using paper of choice:
    • 1 1/2" Shift+Accent 2 <A> (cut 8, p. 51)
  • Sponge edges of each flower petal with corresponding ink color. Create flowers.
  • Sponge edges of all papers and photos with inks of choice, if desired.
  • Embellish with stamped accents and accessories, using 3-D foam tape for dimension as desired.

  • Cut five 11" pennants.
  • Sponge edges of all papers and photos with inks of choice, if desired.
  • Embellish with paper accents and accessories, using 3-D foam tape for dimension as desired.
